La Maison Unique

Studio Lourdes served as Architect of Record for the renovation of Longchamp’s La Maison Unique flagship in SoHo, one of the brand’s most recognizable retail spaces.

With the ground and second floors redesigned by Heatherwick Studio and the third floor developed by Longchamp’s internal team, Studio Lourdes brought the different design packages together into one coordinated and buildable project.

The work included site surveying, engineering coordination, construction documentation, permitting and construction administration. Throughout the process, the team worked closely with designers, consultants and contractors to preserve the flagship’s defining architectural elements while integrating updated finishes, lighting, building systems and a more functional third floor.

Completed in April 2025, the renovation renewed the store without losing the character of the original space, creating a more cohesive customer experience and supporting Longchamp’s evolving retail identity.
