Role Overview:
The Senior Workplace Interior Designer will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of workplace interior projects from concept to completion. With over 15 years of industry experience, this individual brings deep knowledge of spatial planning, furniture systems, materials, and workplace trends. This is a strategic and hands-on role suited for a designer who is passionate about creating environments that support modern work culture and reflect brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end design of commercial interior projects including concept development, space planning, FF&E selection, and construction documentation.
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated workplace solutions.
Develop workplace strategy briefs based on client needs, company culture, and industry trends.
Oversee design presentations and storytelling to communicate concepts clearly and effectively.
Manage design budgets, timelines, and quality control across multiple projects.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
Stay current with new materials, furniture systems, and workplace innovations.
Strong relationship-building and business development skills are essential.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial/workplace interior design.
Strong portfolio showcasing workplace environments with a focus on innovation, aesthetics, and functionality.
Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation software.
Deep understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and construction processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
NCIDQ certification or professional licensure (preferred).

Studio Lourdes seeks a highly motivated Designer possessing background knowledge in retail, hospitality and workplace interior projects. Candidate is required to have 5-10 years of experience in the field and able to provide a portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
This is your opportunity to work across a range of creative projects for valuable and notable brands within a vibrant and friendly community. The Designer will be responsible for:
Coordination of the design development for projects of variable scale
Comfortably taking the lead on programming requirements with the client, creating mood boards, 3-D modelling, photoshop renderings, CAD drawings, image research, material selections, furniture & lighting selections, test-fits, space planning and development of presentations.
Engagingly and persuasively presenting work internally and externally
Collaboration with consultants and client’s consultants to ensure high standards of deliverables
Attending site meetings during construction phase to ensure design intent is achieved
Providing creative guidance and mentorship to junior staff
Can delegate effectively and efficiently
Design to a budget
